The vernissage of the exhibition of reproductions of paintings by Karel Gott took place in the hotel Yasmin, where 150 invited guests came. The vernissage was done in a style of a fashion evening. The invited guests could see the performance of dancers of the National theatre of Košice and the fashion show of the dresses with motives of paintings by Karel Gott. Both performances have earned excited applause and the photo sessions were not about to end. The vernissage was festively opened by city mayor of Košice, Mr.Marek Kažimír. The guests could admire more than 30 reproductions including the large-sized one and even before the vernissage finished, 3 of the present guests became owners of chosen presented works of art and they took their purchased reproductions into their private collections. The guests were also interested in viewing the presented photographs capturing Karel Gott with friends and colleagues during the years of 1960 – 2000. The exhibition of the reproductions by Karel Gott was also attended with big interest by Slovakian media.
