STRAKONICE, Castle gallery of Strakonice – Maltese Hall, 13th January

The exhibition in Strakonice will be the first one in 2011 and it follows this way the successful presentation of exhibitions in the past year. This year´s exhibitions have been enlarged with new artworks which Karel Gott allowed to be reproduced. We also managed to receive the artworks which have been created in the past years, but which by and by disappeared from the main focus.

The exhibition will present more than 40-year old painting artworks of Karel Gott, because the oldest painting comes from the 70´s of the past century. The visitors in USA, Germany and Slovakia have already had the opportunity to admire this exhibition before. The exhibition itself consists not only of paintings, but also from a number of photographs from the professional and also private life of Karel Gott and due to the huge success and interest of the visitors, we have also added the dress models with painting motives. This dress collection comes from the workshop of fashion designer Iveta Řádková. Fashion and dresses become a symbolic bridge joining the two worlds between Karel Gott as singer and as a painter. The exhibition is opened every day from the 13th January 2011 to 10th February 2011. The presentation space is the Maltese hall of the castle gallery.
